Jobs

Arrow

Middle/Senior Backend Developer (Python/Django/Flask)

We recently raised a round of investment, and we need a talented developer willing to work on a single product that is growing and changing rapidly. In the process, together we clear the debris of the monolith, move to a beautiful API architecture, write tests and get rid of the legacy of the classic Django project (you probably know what it's like when half of the logic is in templates and half in the API, something is already on the SPA, and something is moving with jQuery). There are only 6 people in development so far. Most decisions are made independently. If this is familiar to you and you want to become part of our small but efficient team, then see what we expect from you and what we offer in return.

The tasks are challenging, but inspiring:

  • Development of internal and client API, model analysis tasks in a distributed queue, pricing algorithms
  • Refactoring old or bad code
  • Participation in architecture development and moving to new versions of Celery, Python and Django
  • Task planning and decomposition
  • Preparation of solutions for better documentation, monitoring, logging based on AWS and third-party services

Requirements:

  • Work experience: 1-3 years
  • Confident knowledge of Python as applied to web services
  • Production experience with AWS, Celery, Docker
  • Understanding of English (the board/documentation is conducted in English)
  • Striving to create a world-class product
  • Sociability, ability to work in a team
  • Willing to work with relic code

Conditions:

  • The opportunity to work remotely or from US office
  • Working in an industry where a real revolution is taking place
  • Competitive salary and bonuses
  • Salary revision after the annual review
  • The latest and greatest equipment to choose from
  • Work schedule 5/2
  • No internal bureaucracy standing in your way
