We recently raised a round of investment, and we need a talented developer willing to work on a single product that is growing and changing rapidly. In the process, together we clear the debris of the monolith, move to a beautiful API architecture, write tests and get rid of the legacy of the classic Django project (you probably know what it's like when half of the logic is in templates and half in the API, something is already on the SPA, and something is moving with jQuery). There are only 6 people in development so far. Most decisions are made independently. If this is familiar to you and you want to become part of our small but efficient team, then see what we expect from you and what we offer in return.
DigiFabster is a United States based company founded by a group of founders with rich experience in manufacturing, development and marketing. Our journey started in a real machine shop, and in 2020 we graduated from the Alchemist accelerator in San Francisco. Our investors include Mucker Capital, SOMA Capital (SF-based investor in 20 unicorns), Service Titan ($10bn startup), Flexport ($100bn logistics startup), G2 and two dozen other amazing people.
Our team brought together the best specialists from Autodesk, Solidworks and Ansys. We work in 10 different cities around the world, including 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, 🇷🇺 Moscow, Samara, 🇬🇧 London, 🇪🇸 Madrid and 🇳🇱 Amsterdam. Our engineering team operates in European time zones.
We call ourselves “Shopify for Manufacturing”. DigiFabster allows manufacturers (thus machine shops) to sell custom engineering parts online 24/7 directly from their website. Our software automates the process of quoting, receiving and processing orders. We provide end customers the opportunity to get an instant cost estimate, order and monitor the process of their parts. We use complex algorithms for analyzing 3D/CAD models to calculate the cost and ability to manufacture parts in real time.
We have hundreds of customers in diverse industries accross 40 countries, including HP, Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Virgin and many others.
We already have processes that are generally in place, but there is still a lot of room for you to make impactful improvements.
You will be a great fit if you like to organize delivery, establish communications within the team, build integrations with external products and teams through APIs, and monitor how customer values match what is being developed in the product.
This role is a classic Project Manager, who may be interested in working on a product in the future.
