Middle/Senior Backend Developer (Python/Django/Flask)

We recently raised a round of investment, and we need a talented developer willing to work on a single product that is growing and changing rapidly. In the process, together we clear the debris of the monolith, move to a beautiful API architecture, write tests and get rid of the legacy of the classic Django project (you probably know what it's like when half of the logic is in templates and half in the API, something is already on the SPA, and something is moving with jQuery). There are only 6 people in development so far. Most decisions are made independently. The tasks are challenging, but inspiring:

  • Development of internal and client API, model analysis tasks in a distributed queue, pricing algorithms
  • Refactoring old or bad code
  • Participation in architecture development and moving to new versions of Celery, Python and Django
  • Task planning and decomposition
  • Preparation of solutions for better documentation, monitoring, logging based on AWS and third-party services

Requirements:

  • Work experience: 1-3 years
  • Confident knowledge of Python as applied to web services

Product Manager in IT

DigiFabster is a United States based company founded by a group of founders with rich experience in manufacturing, development and marketing. Our journey started in a real machine shop, and in 2020 we graduated from the Alchemist accelerator in San Francisco. What are we doing

We call ourselves “Shopify for Manufacturing”. DigiFabster allows manufacturers (thus machine shops) to sell custom engineering parts online 24/7 directly from their website. Our software automates the process of quoting, receiving and processing orders. We provide end customers the opportunity to get an instant cost estimate, order and monitor the process of their parts. We use complex algorithms for analyzing 3D/CAD models to calculate the cost and ability to manufacture parts in real time.

We have hundreds of customers in diverse industries accross 40 countries, including HP, Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Virgin and many others.

Who are we looking for

We already have processes that are generally in place, but there is still a lot of room for you to make impactful improvements.

You will be a great fit if you like to organize delivery, establish communications within the team, build integrations with external products and teams through APIs, and monitor how customer values ​​match what is being developed in the product.

This role is a classic Project Manager, who may be interested in working on a product in the future.

Responsibilities

The Product Designer will have a key role in the DigiFabster operations worldwide and work closely together with both the internal development team and customers to better understand the machine shop needs and deliver the best possible user experience.

Essential Functions

  • Work directly with CTO, CEO, and CS team
  • Organize cross-team design sprints to answer questions through design, prototyping, and testing
  • Build and maintain an accurate understanding of user’s needs and challenges through regular interviews
  • Be responsible for consistency across our application while further improving our current design system
  • Help with establishing adoption and engagement metrics for products you help create
  • Perform competitor & referrals user experience analyses
  • Apply customer journey mapping approach
  • Perform live product testing, collect feedback and reiterate the design
  • Extreme care about the user experience and interface details

Requirements

  • Experience designing digital products and systems (specifically B2B software), not just websites. You have helped ship products that solve real problems and that people use.
  • An appreciation of the entire product development process, from problem solving and system modelling, through to detailed UI, visual, and interaction design
  • Good communication skills to help people across the company understand the rationale behind your proposals, and the complex nuances of design problems
  • Motivated self-starter who can deeply collaborate with other disciplines including product management, engineering, research, and analytics.
  • Talk to the users regularly, whether to understand their needs or to test your designs

Customer Support Manager Responsibilities

Our Application Engineers / Technical Sales work directly with Sales Development Representatives and perform customer product demonstrations. Additionally they interact with customers in an effort to leverage DigiFabster's platform to grow their business.

Essential Functions

  • PRESENTATION: Perform demonstrations of our software &/or co-host on-line sessions with Sales Development Representatives, educating prospects how DigiFabster can address their unique needs, address efficiency and offering a timely return on investment.
  • SUPPORT: Assisting our DigiFabster customers with technical support matters as they learn to incorporate our platform into their back-office process.
  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Support sales team members; work with them to identify any challenges customers may be experiencing in their day-to-day business endeavors, educate team members and address technical questions.
  • Report directly to VP Sales in the local office or remotely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of 3D printing/CNC/sheet metal/injection molding and CAD experience
  • Personable, hardworking, autonomous, team player with a positive solution-oriented attitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills; ability to present to ‘C’ level executives, owners and end users alike
  • Strong LISTENING skills; allowing one to hear what the prospective customer is saying (what they need) and assist in a timely professional manner

Sales Account Executive - West & Central (WA/CA/Chicago/Detroit/Ind)

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will have a key role in the DigiFabster operations in the US, working closely with a variety of customers, as well as their peers across different functions of the organization.

The Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales from initial contact to close. Work will be performed primarily via web-based meetings, demos and phone calls.

Essential Functions

  • Work directly with Vice President of Sales
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline advancing sales opportunities (Discovery to close of business… producing new revenue), heavy outbound calling with diligent follow through
  • Perform online or face-to-face product sales presentations of DigiFabster platform, provide quotations, negotiate deals, obtain purchase orders and contracts
  • Share relevant case studies and ROI metrics to educate decision makers of the many benefits our SaaS platform; DigiFabster
  • Regular and disciplined CRM activity documenting: sales forecast and opportunity, sales stages, up to date & accurate contact entry for decision makers & influencers
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet prospect/customer needs
  • Engineering/software power user background to provide first line support is beneficial
  • Available to travel and participate in trade show across the US
  • The following location is preferred: WA/CA/Chicago/Detroit/Indianapolis/Cincinnati

Requirements

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Sales in a technology/software organization. SaaS experience is a bonus
  • Good technical knowledge of CNC, 3D printing, sheet metals, injection molding. Bonus points: an engineering degree
  • Strong networking skills and ability to interact successfully with people at all levels of business hierarchy
  • Have a proven track record in sales, client base or established contacts in the market
  • Excellent phone calls and cold-calling skills
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
