Grow Your Aerospace and Defense Business with DigiFabster

Many companies in aerospace and defense have to comply with International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations. These rules govern the import and export of defense-related articles and services. In the U.S. ITAR is implemented and administered by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
Security

One of the keys to ITAR compliance is a strong secure methodology for storing and transferring data related to defense technology. DigiFabster encrypts all design files and other data uploaded to our software, and they remain encrypted whether at rest or in transit.

AWS

DigiFabster also works with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide its customers with secured and ITAR compliant storage. This enables our customers to work with clients in aerospace, military suppliers and others who are subject to its regulations.

More About AWS and ITAR

AWS GovCloud (U.S.) supports compliance with United States International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a part of managing a comprehensive ITAR compliance program, companies that are subject to ITAR export regulations must control unintended exports by restricting access to protected data to US Persons, and by restricting physical location of protected data to the U.S..

AWS GovCloud (U.S.) provides an environment that is physically located in the U.S., and access by AWS personnel is limited to US Persons, thereby allowing qualified companies to use AWS to transmit, process, and store protected articles and data subject to ITAR restrictions. The AWS GovCloud (U.S.) environment has been audited by an independent third-party assessment organization (3PAO) to validate that proper controls are in place to support customer export compliance programs.
